A day or do ago, my sister emailed me a daily devotional about prayer and when I went to church last wednesday the sermon was about getting your prayers answered. The main thing that I got from it is whatever you pray for make sure it's a need not a want and it comes from an earnest honest heart.
My spiritual journey has lead me to a rather dark place, one where I feel very alone and am yearning to find comfort in the wilderness. I am learning to embrace the struggle rather than to fear it, because in my grief and pain, I will find peace and healing.

Unanswered prayers
Below is a photo that I took while walking with my closest friend Krista; we were walking to Renaisannce Park downtown in Chattanooga, TN. You must keep walking on the path to complete the journey. I have to remind myself that we walk only one step at a time. Keep one foot in front of the other - simple as that
